Brasilia: Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Al-Tijani Suwar has recently presented his credentials to H.E. Luiz In¡cio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to Brazil.
According to Sudan News Agency, during the credentials presentation ceremony, the Ambassador conveyed to President Lula da Silva the greetings of H.E. General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), along with his wishes for the President’s continued good health and for further progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Brazil.
President Lula da Silva, in response, welcomed the Ambassador and praised the strong and friendly relations between Sudan and Brazil. He affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields to serve the shared interests of the two countries and their peoples.
