Khartoum: Members of the Sudanese Medical Council took the oath of office on Thursday before the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar, in the presence of the Council’s President, Lieutenant General (Police), Dr. Hisham Mohamed Abdel-Rahim, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Hiba Yassin Abu-Turki.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Council’s President explained in a press statement that the oath-taking marks the official commencement of the Council’s work, enabling the formation of specialized committees to carry out the professional tasks assigned to the body.
He further noted that the announcement of the Permanent Registration Examination was made earlier this week, with the exam scheduled to take place on November 8 and 9. He added that within the next two weeks, all electronic registration windows will be opened through the Council’s online service system.
