Khartoum: The Sudanese Gymnastics Federation launched its activities today at the Youth and Children's Palace, with the Minister of Youth and Sports, Professor Ahmed Adam, in attendance, along with members of the board of directors, coaches, referees, and gymnastics players.
According to Sudan News Agency, Professor Ahmed Adam applauded the responsiveness of sports federations and youth organizations to the initiative of returning to Khartoum to resume sports activities. He emphasized the role of sports as a catalyst for security and stability and urged sports federations to activate their activities and prepare for participation in local and international championships.
Professor Mutaz Khalafallah, Secretary of the Sudanese Gymnastics Federation, announced the commencement of the federation's activities from the Youth and Children's Palace. He highlighted the preparations underway for participation in local and international championships as per the regional federations' calendar. Khalafallah expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Youth and Sports' efforts in reviving sports activity, enhancing sports federations, and providing headquarters by utilizing the Youth and Children's Palace as a center for sports federations.
