Sudanese Government Official Accuses RSF Leader of Deception in Recent Statements

KHARTOUM: The Sudanese Minister of Culture and Information, Khaled Al-Aiser, has accused Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, of making false statements that conflict with reality. Al-Aiser, who is also the official government spokesman, criticized Dagalo for his inconsistent remarks and accused him of crimes against the Sudanese people.

According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Aiser expressed these allegations in a post on his Facebook page, where he claimed that Dagalo had previously said that Khartoum would be inhabited by cats, alluding to the displacement of its residents. Al-Aiser asserted that Dagalo’s recent statements mirror his earlier rhetoric, which denounced the criminal actions of his militias, despite their continued perpetration of such acts.

Al-Aiser further emphasized that the truth cannot be falsified, labeling Dagalo’s statements as outdated and lacking credibility. He noted that the Sudanese people are increasingly aware of these contradictions and are skeptical of Dagalo’s claims. Al-Aiser urged the Sudanese public not to be deceived by these repeated falsehoods and called on Dagalo and his supporters to seek alternative solutions, as lying has become ineffective.
