Land Protection Authorities Issue Warnings to 175 Illegal Sites in Al-Ashara Market

Khartoum: The Land Protection and Violations Removal Authority has issued warnings to owners of 175 illegal sites in the Al-Ashara market area in Khartoum, signaling an impending removal of these violating structures.

According to Sudan News Agency, the director of the agency's branch in Khartoum locality, Hossam El-Din Abdullah, stated that the warnings target various structures including kiosks, slums, animal pens, viewing clubs, and cafes. These actions are in line with directives from the executive director of the locality, Abdul-Moneim Al-Bashir, following the Supreme Committee for Emergency and Crisis Management's decision to reorganize markets and review those damaged by war. The removal process will be overseen by the Director General of the Land Protection and Removal of Violations Agency, with assistance from the Violations and Organization Department and the Administrative Extension Unit.
