Khartoum: The Sudanese Armed Forces announced that their air defences shot down a hostile strategic drone on Tuesday over Al-Andaraba in North Kordofan State. In a statement, the Armed Forces' Office of the Official Spokesperson said ground-based air defense units intercepted and destroyed an FH-95 strategic drone north of Al-Andaraba along the Export Road.
According to Sudan News Agency, the incident highlights ongoing tensions and the military's vigilance in protecting its airspace. The details regarding the origin or the mission of the drone were not disclosed.
