Sudanair Allocates 45 Discounted Seats to Support Voluntary Return of Sudanese Citizens

Khartoum: The Director General of Sudan Airways, Captain Mazin Al-Awad, has initiated the 'Return by Air' program aimed at aiding affected families and alleviating travel and medical treatment costs. This initiative underscores the national carrier's enduring humanitarian and national obligation to Sudanese citizens, a commitment that has been steadfast since March 2025.

According to Sudan News Agency, the program incorporates 10 complimentary seats on each flight departing from Cairo dedicated to the families of martyrs, particularly in first-class, and for those injured in the Battle of Dignity along with their companions requiring medical treatment. This gesture reaffirms the airline's dedication to honoring the sacrifices made by these individuals. Furthermore, patients with an official medical commission report are eligible for free tickets, while their companions receive a 50% discount. Additionally, special discounts are available for students and media personnel in recognition of their social and national contributions.

To enhance support for a dignified return, Sudan Airways has announced the provision of 45 seats at a 50% discount on all routes, which aims to facilitate the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens and aid in the reunification of their families.
