Brussels: The Government of Sudan on Wednesday strongly condemned the terrorist missile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against southern Saudi Arabia.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Government of Sudan issued a statement through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, expressing its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The government articulated its full support for Saudi Arabia in confronting what it described as unjustified aggression.
The statement emphasized that the Houthi militia's actions are desperate attempts to threaten the security and sovereignty of Saudi Arabia, which is seen as a key pillar of regional stability and a symbol of Arab and Islamic unity. It highlighted the intention of the Houthi militia to spread chaos and instability and export crises to the region, which could have serious repercussions on the security of the Red Sea and the freedom of international trade.
Furthermore, the Government of Sudan urged the international community to take such actions seriously and address them with firmness.
