Sudan: The governments of Sudan and Belarus have formalized a significant agreement focused on the provision of export credits, which aims to establish a comprehensive legal and financial framework for the supply of Belarusian goods and services to Sudan. This agreement marks a crucial step in strengthening bilateral trade relations between the two countries.
According to Sudan News Agency, the agreement was signed by the State Minister at the Ministry of Finance, Mohamed Nour Abdel-Daem, on behalf of Sudan. Representing Belarus, Deputy Industry Minister Leonid Rizhkovsky played a pivotal role in finalizing the agreement.
Under the terms of this agreement, the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus will act as the lending institution responsible for financing operations that are related to the export agreements. This move is expected to facilitate smoother transactions and encourage further economic cooperation between Sudan and Belarus.
