El-Obeid: The indiscriminate shelling carried out by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Friday resulted in the death of six members of one family and the injury of three others.
According to Sudan News Agency, the duty officer at the Eid Al-Adha’s Emergency Chamber, at the Ministry of Health and Social Development in North Kordofan State, Mohammed Hussein Zariba, confirmed that the unfortunate events that took place in El-Obeid on Friday morning led to these casualties.
Zariba explained that the health situation in the state is stable, noting that health institutions continue to perform their duties efficiently. This statement came during his inspection tour, which included visits to the Emergency and Trauma Hospital, El-Obeid Teaching Hospital, the Children’s Accident Hospital, the Central Blood Bank, laboratories, and pharmacies of the National Fund for Medical Supplies.
