El-fashir: The Joint Force of Armed Struggle Movements has announced that the Armed Forces, the Joint Forces, and the Popular Resistance repelled an attack on El-Fashir, North Darfur State, today, Saturday.
According to Sudan News Agency, the attack was launched by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia, with the participation of Colombian mercenaries and forces loyal to rebel Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) of Abdelaziz El-Hilu. The Joint Force stated that the repelling operations resulted in the killing and capture of dozens of elements of the rebel RSF militia and its allies, including the killing of a number of foreign mercenaries. The operation notably led to the death of the commander of the militia’s special forces, a Colombian national, confirming the militia’s use of international mercenaries against civilians.
The Joint Force emphasized that the Armed and Joint Forces are prepared to confront any further attempts at rebellion. It highlighted the involvement of Abdelaziz Al-Hilu’s force
s in the siege of El-Fashir and the targeting of civilians as a significant development, exposing their intentions against defenseless populations.
The Joint Forces issued a warning to the public regarding the ongoing threat posed by the rebel militia’s efforts to divide the nation and exploit its resources. They urged for unity and support for the armed forces to counteract the plans of the Dagalo family, mercenaries, and foreign interests that thrive on the suffering of innocents.
