Khartoum: The official spokesman for the armed forces (SAF), Brig. Gen. Nabil Abdullah, has announced the successful cleansing of the area of Baldago and its surroundings in Bau County in the Blue Nile region from the remnants of Al-Dagalo and Joseph Tuka’s militias.
According to Sudan News Agency, Brig. Gen. Abdullah, in a statement on Wednesday, expressed gratitude and attributed the operation’s success to divine support. He stated, “Thanks be to Allah Almighty, our forces in the Fourth Infantry Division – Ad-Damazin have cleansed the area of Baldago and its surroundings in Bau County from the remnants of Al-Dagalo and Joseph Tuka militias.” He further emphasized that victory is assured with divine aid.
This development is seen as a significant step towards stabilizing the region, as the SAF continues its efforts to eliminate militia threats.
