Port sudan: The Red Sea State Wali, Lt. Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, witnessed the signing of a contract with the Kuwait United Real Estate Company to establish and operate the “Arous” Tourist Resort, located north of Port Sudan. This development marks a significant step towards enhancing the region’s tourism infrastructure.
According to Sudan News Agency, the project will feature a hotel and a resort built to international standards, aiming to cater to the entertainment and tourism market. The initiative is expected to attract further investment in the sector, stimulate economic growth, and generate new employment opportunities in the state.
The contract signing took place at the office of the Red Sea State Wali, with notable attendees including the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Sudan, Dr. Fahad Mishari Al-Dhafiri. The agreement was formalized by Mohammed Ali Kajar, Director General of the Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Red Sea State government, while Mazin Essam Hawa represented the Kuwaiti United Real Estate Company.
