Public Prosecution Opens Complaint Window in Egypt for Reporting RSF Militia Violations.

Cairo: The First Assistant to the Attorney General, Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for Investigation into Crimes and Violations of National Law and International Humanitarian Law, Yassir Bashir Al-Bukhari, has returned to the country from the Arab Republic of Egypt. His visit marks the initiation of a new mechanism to address grievances from the Sudanese community in Egypt concerning the ongoing conflict in Sudan.

According to Sudan News Agency, Al-Bukhari supervised the establishment of a dedicated channel within the Sudanese embassy in Cairo to receive complaints about crimes and violations perpetrated by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Militia. This initiative aims to document and address the concerns of Sudanese nationals affected by the war.

The complaint window is scheduled to commence operations on Sunday, November 10, 2024. Members of the Public Prosecution will facilitate the process, ensuring that the complaints are systematically recorded and investigated.
