Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Al-Tayib Idris emphasized the importance of addressing citizens’ demands, committing to swift government action. During his visit to Al-Kamlin Hospital, he assured the provision of an ambulance to enhance local health services.
According to Sudan News Agency, Federal Health Minister Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim revealed that Gezira State achieved the restoration of more than 700 hospitals and health centers in just three months, surpassing the initial target of 150 facilities within 100 days. He mentioned that specialized services, including oncology and kidney care, are set to resume shortly.
Wali of Gezira State, Al-Tahir Ibrahim Al-Khair, confirmed that the restoration of the health system remains the highest priority for his administration.
