Omdurman: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has praised the sacrifices of the Central Reserve Police Forces and Operations Body Forces of the General Intelligence Service, noting their significant contribution to defeating the rebel militia in several areas in central Sudan. He emphasized the Government of Hope’s gratitude for these efforts.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Kamil Idris conducted field visits to the headquarters of the Central Reserve Forces and the Intelligence Service in Omdurman on Saturday. He was accompanied by the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza. The Prime Minister underscored the nation’s pride in all its sons fighting on the front lines, especially highlighting the roles of the Central Reserve Forces and the Intelligence Service.
The Prime Minister reiterated the Government of Hope’s unwavering support for these forces. He stressed the importance of maintaining these forces and providing the necessary resources for further training and capacity building of their personnel, ensuring they remain equipped to handle future challenges.
