Khartoum: The Transitional Prime Minister, Professor Kamil Idris, has announced the appointment of five new ministers and three state ministers to serve in Sudan’s “Government of Hope.” This decision marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to stabilize and reform the country’s governance.
According to Sudan News Agency, the appointments include Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar Khalaf Allah Ahmed as Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Engineer Moatasim Ibrahim Ahmed as Minister of Energy, and Engineer Ahmed Al-Dirdiri Ghandour as Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications. Additionally, Dr. Al-Tuhami Al-Zein Hajar Mohammed has been appointed as Minister of Education and National Education, while Professor Ahmed Adam Ahmed will take on the role of Minister of Youth and Sports.
In terms of state minister positions, Ambassador Omar Mohamed Ahmed Siddig will serve at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Counselor Mohamed Nour Abdel-Dayim Abdel-Rahim Mohamed has been appointed
as State Minister at the Ministry of Finance, and Ms. Suleima Ishag Mohamed will serve as State Minister at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare. These appointments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Sudan’s administrative and policy-making capacities under the transitional government.
