Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris affirmed that the Native Administrations and Sufi Orders represent the safety valve of Sudan, appreciating the role played by the leaders of the Native Administration and community figures in uniting the national ranks and mending the social fabric. This came during his visit today to the village of Abraq Sheikh Taha in East Nile, accompanied by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Social Peace, Professor Al-Nour Sheikh Al-Nour, where he was received by the General Nazir of the Batahin tribes, Nazir Muntaser Sheikh Khalid Talha, and a group of leaders of the native administration in the country.
According to Sudan News Agency, His Excellency praised the sacrifices of the Native Administration and their role in the Battle of Dignity and their support for the Armed Forces, indicating that the Native Administration and Sufi orders represent the basic pillar in achieving national recovery and achieving social reconciliation, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.
Dr. Kamel Idris reiterated that the security and livelihood of the people are among the most important priorities of the Hope Government, explaining the government's keenness to provide services and achieve rural development, as it represents the basis of the country's economic renaissance.
For his part, the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Social Peace, Professor Al-Nour Al-Sheikh Al-Nour, stressed the need to unify the national ranks, pointing to the important role played by the local administrations and Sufi orders in the success and implementation of the Supreme Council for Social Peace's programs, which call for spreading a culture of peace and strengthening social peace.
The leaders of the Native Administration expressed their happiness at the visit of the Prime Minister, explaining that it reflects the interest of the state and its leaders in the role of the Native Administration in bringing about national unity and strengthening national cohesion, stressing their standing in one trench with the armed forces in the battle of dignity, and working together with the government of hope to make its plans and programs succeed in bringing the country to safety.
