Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has issued a decision to establish a dedicated unit focusing on youth issues, based on the provisions of the 2019 Constitutional Document, which was amended in 2025. This new initiative aims to activate the role of youth, enabling them to significantly contribute to construction and development processes.
According to Sudan News Agency, the youth unit will be attached to the Prime Minister’s Office. It forms part of the government’s broader strategy to enhance youth participation in national development, advance economic progress, and contribute significantly to shaping the country’s future. By empowering young people, the initiative seeks to harness their potential in building a more robust and prosperous nation.
