Istanbul: On his return from the Munich Security Conference, Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris engaged with Sudanese representatives in Istanbul to further strengthen the Sudanese-Turkish relations. The Prime Minister received a comprehensive briefing from Sudan's Ambassador to Turkey, Nadir Al-Tayib, which focused on enhancing bilateral support and development. The briefing was attended by key figures including Deputy Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Abbas Mohamed Bakhit, advisors Dr. Hussein Al-Hafyan and Nizar Abdullah, Ambassador Badr-Eddin Al-Jie'ifri, and Consul General Ambassador Osama Mahjoub.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister also met with the head of the Sudanese community in Istanbul, Engineer Nizar Ata Al-Manan, who provided insights into the community's activities. The community has been actively supporting the 'War of Dignity' and is playing a crucial role in overcoming challenges facing Sudanese representation in the region.
In parallel, the head of the Sudanese Businessmen Association, Ahmed Musa Hussein Dirar, underscored the association's efforts in fostering connections between economic institutions in Sudan and Turkey. He emphasized the importance of establishing private sector partnerships and leveraging Turkish expertise in clean energy.
Additionally, the head of the Sudanese Students' Union in Turkey, Kamal Al-Tom Youssef, informed the Prime Minister about the involvement of Sudanese students in Turkish scientific competitions, highlighting their active participation and achievements in the academic sphere.
