Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met on Tuesday in Khartoum with Nazir (Chieftain) Mohamed El-Amin Tirik, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Beja Nazirs and Independent Chieftaincies, along with his accompanying delegation.
According to Sudan News Agency, Nazir Tirik stated that the meeting focused on the overall situation in eastern Sudan, highlighting stability and successful efforts to enhance social peace in the region. The discussions also covered development projects in eastern Sudan and explored ways to improve service delivery for the people in the East.
Nazir Tirik expressed their support for the national leadership, led by the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris, during this critical period the country is experiencing. He also conveyed their backing for initiatives aimed at achieving national consensus, peace, and stability in the country.
