Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris has affirmed the government’s commitment to addressing health issues, particularly focusing on health services in Khartoum State. The state’s hospitals have faced significant challenges due to the damage caused by the violations of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, leaving most hospitals out of service.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister closely monitored the progress of service provision at several key hospitals, including the Military Medical Hospital, Omdurman Teaching Hospital, and Al-Naw Hospital. These facilities are experiencing a substantial influx of citizens and are preparing to meet the anticipated increase in demand for services as citizens return to the state in the coming period.
Dr. Idris engaged with hospital directors, receiving briefings on the pressing problems, obstacles, and essential needs required to facilitate the efficient flow of services. He emphasized his commitment to resolving these issues and enhancing the operational efficiency of the hospitals involved.
