New york: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris participated on Monday at the inaugural session of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, held under the theme: “Together Towards a Better Future: 80 Years and Beyond for Peace, Development, and Human Rights.”
According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ambassador Mohy-Eddin Salim, Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism Khalid Al-Ayesir, Sudan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Al-Harith Idris Al-Harith, along with a number of ambassadors and senior officials.
Dr. Kamil Idris is scheduled to deliver Sudan’s national statement to the General Assembly on Thursday, 25 September 2025, where he will highlight Sudan’s current priorities and reaffirm his commitment to joint efforts for peace, development, and the promotion of human rights.
