Riyadh: President Ahmad al-Sharaa met at his residence in Riyadh with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al Saud, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani. They discussed the relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia, focusing on strengthening security and economic cooperation and coordinating joint efforts to serve the interests of both countries.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the two leaders also exchanged views on issues of mutual concern at the regional and international levels. President al-Sharaa is on an official visit to Saudi Arabia to participate in the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative Conference and hold talks with senior Saudi officials.
During his visit, President al-Sharaa is expected to deliver a speech at the conference. He will also hold meetings with leading international investment companies and economic institutions to discuss opportunities for cooperation and regional economic growth.
