Khartoum: Minister of Interior Khalil Pasha Sayreen has revealed, during the regular briefing conference of the Ministry of Culture and Information, organized by the Sudan News Agency Monday, that joint coordination is underway with the Refugee Commission regarding the deportation of Ethiopian and Eritrean refugees to camps in Kassala and Al-Gadarif, and the deportation and gathering of southern Sudanese refugees in a camp outside Khartoum State.
According to Sudan News Agency, Acting Director General of the Police Forces, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Ibrahim Awadallah, indicated that police officers working with the militia have been monitored, stating that they will not escape punishment. General Awadallah indicated the existence of a committee to monitor those collaborating with the militia. He added that monitoring is ongoing as long as the war continues, and that the measures have been implemented against those identified.
He added that anyone who harms a citizen will not escape punishment.
