Khartoum: The Sudanese Federation for Physical Education initiated its programs today with a meeting held at the Youth and Children's Palace in Omdurman. The event was attended by Professor Ahmed Adam, the Minister of Youth and Sports, along with members of the Board of Directors.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting covered several key agenda items, including the presentation of the federation's bylaws to its members. Additionally, the appointment of delegates was discussed, with the aim of establishing state federations to function as extensions of the General Assembly.
Dr. Mirghani Hassan, President of the Sudanese Sports Federation for Physical Education, stated that the meeting successfully established a vision for leveraging the newly formed federation to advance Sudanese sports. Efforts will be coordinated with counterpart federations to achieve these goals.
Dr. Hassan further mentioned that the federation has begun taking significant steps towards creating state federations and engaging with continental and international federations. This aims to enhance the federation's presence on both regional and international stages through various activities.
