Peace Commission Head Discusses Strengthening Partnership with UNDP Resident Representative

Khartoum: Head of the Peace Commission, Professor Suleiman Al-Diblo, met with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Luca Renda, to discuss strengthening ongoing cooperation. According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting addressed the situation of Sudanese citizens abroad and the role UNDP can play in this regard. In a press statement, Renda emphasized the UN's commitment to coordination with relevant institutions, reaffirming UNDP readiness to provide support for peacebuilding and community coexistence, as well as assistance to projects submitted by the Peace Commission. Both sides affirmed the strength of their existing partnership.
