Port sudan: A shipment of six power generators donated by the Omani Charitable Organization in the Sultanate of Oman arrived Wednesday at Port Sudan’s southern terminal, as a generous gesture from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman.
According to Sudan News Agency, Ambassador Jamal Malik, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, stated that this initiative is part of Oman’s ongoing support for Sudan. He emphasized that the donation reflects the bonds of brotherhood between the two nations.
He further mentioned that the generators will be allocated according to the government’s plan. The goal is to support public sectors and service institutions to ensure a steady supply of electricity in those facilities.
