Atbara: The Minister of Infrastructure and Urban Development in the River Nile State, Engineer Samir Saeed, emphasized the vital role of the mining sector in bolstering the national economy. During a meeting with a delegation from the Wet Mills Division in Al-Ubaidiya, Saeed underscored the need to empower the sector, particularly during the reconstruction phase.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting was held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Atbara and was attended by Professor Al-Jaali Khalaf Allah, Head of the Wet Mills Division. Discussions focused on how the Minerals’ House in Al-Ubaidiya city could contribute to the sector’s development. Professor Al-Jaali Khalaf Allah highlighted the division’s commitment to collaborating with stakeholders to ensure stability within the mining industry along the Nile River.
