Khartoum: Newly appointed ministers took their oaths of office on Thursday in a ceremony held before General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC). The ceremony was an important moment for the Ministers of Justice, Finance, Minerals, Religious Affairs and Endowments, Culture and Information, Industry and Trade, Federal Government, Human Resources, and Social Welfare.
According to Sudan News Agency, the oath-taking ceremony was attended by key figures including Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris, Chief Justice Abdel-Aziz Fath Al-Rahman, and the TSC Secretary-General, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef. Following the formal proceedings, a meeting was convened between the TSC President, the Prime Minister, and the newly appointed ministers to discuss their upcoming responsibilities.
Moatasim Ahmed Salih, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, stated in a press release that the ministers emphasized their dedication to promoting nationalism and serving al
l Sudanese citizens. They reiterated that the Government of Hope is committed to implementing projects aimed at improving the nation’s situation rather than merely holding offices of honor.
The ministers expressed a unified commitment to working collaboratively in order to guide the country through its current challenges. They highlighted their shared resolve to function as a cohesive team until Sudan successfully navigates its way out of the ongoing crisis.
