Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) "30" index closed on Tuesday at 7,772.18 points, representing a decrease of 23.2 points, or 0.30 percent, from the previous trading session's close of 7,795.37 points. This decline reflects a downturn in the market's performance.
According to Qatar News Agency, the total trading value on the Muscat Stock Exchange reached OMR 37,731,264, marking an 11 percent decrease from the last trading session, which recorded a trading value of OMR 42,395,834. This reduction in trading activity contributed to the overall decline seen in the market.
The report issued by MSX indicated a decrease in market capitalization by 0.244 percent from the last trading day, bringing it to approximately OMR 37.04 billion. This decline in market capitalization underscores the subdued trading environment experienced on the exchange.
