Morocco, UK Explore Stronger Economic Ties

Rabat: Morocco and the United Kingdom discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation during the fourth meeting of their Partnership Council in Rabat. The two sides addressed plans to increase bilateral trade and boost investment flows, while also discussing opportunities linked to the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which Morocco will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting provided a platform for both countries to explore potential areas for collaboration, particularly in relation to the upcoming global sports event. The discussions highlighted the mutual interest in enhancing economic relations and leveraging the FIFA World Cup as a catalyst for increased engagement and partnership between the two nations.
