Khartoum: Minister of Industry and Trade, Mahasin Ali Yagoub, discussed with the Director of the Internal Audit Chamber, Dr. Hagir Mohamed Ahmed, ways to coordinate and cooperate in strengthening oversight of public funds and ensuring transparency and integrity in financial performance, with the Ministry’s full support for implementing state directives in this regard.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing the mechanisms for auditing and monitoring financial transactions to protect public resources. Both parties emphasized the need for effective collaboration to uphold transparency and accountability within governmental financial operations. The discussions are part of ongoing efforts to align with national directives aimed at improving financial governance and safeguarding public funds.
