Khartoum: The Minister of Energy, Engineer Al-Mu'tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan (CBOS), Amna Mirghani, at his office to discuss the implementation of energy projects in the oil and electricity sectors. The meeting focused on the role of the Central Bank in financing and guaranteeing projects that are vital to strengthening the national economy.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Minister of Energy provided an overview of ongoing projects and highlighted the challenges they face. Priority issues discussed included regional electricity interconnection projects with neighboring countries. The CBOS Governor emphasized the importance of the Central Bank's support for national economic projects, with a particular focus on energy initiatives in the oil and electricity sectors.
