Khartoum: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Agar, along with the Wali of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, conducted an inspection of several critical facilities and sites in Khartoum State. Among these was the General Command of the Armed Forces, where they were welcomed by the Director of Officers’ Affairs, Maj. Gen. Khalaf Allah Abdullah Idris. He provided a comprehensive report on the progress of reconstruction efforts at the Command.
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation assessed the extent of maintenance work being undertaken on the General Command buildings. During the visit, TSC Vice-President Malik Agar paid his respects at the cemetery of the Martyrs of Dignity located at the General Command. He expressed his condolences and issued directives for the cemetery to be fenced or for a larger area to be located to accommodate all the martyrs’ bodies. Additionally, he reviewed the honor roll dedicated to the Martyrs of the Dignity War situated around the General Command.
The delegation’s inspection also extended to the Shambat and Halfaya bridges, where they received a detailed briefing on ongoing maintenance activities.
