Khartoum: Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Malik Agar, alongside the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, conducted an inspection of several essential facilities and sites within Khartoum State. This included a visit to the General Command of the Armed Forces, where they were greeted by the Director of Officers’ Affairs, Maj. Gen. Khalaf Allah Abdullah Idris. During the visit, a report detailing the reconstruction progress of the Command was presented to them.
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation assessed the ongoing maintenance efforts on the General Command’s buildings. In addition, TSC Vice-President Malik Agar visited the cemetery of the Martyrs of Dignity at the General Command, where he extended his condolences. He emphasized the need for the graveyard to be fenced or for a larger area to be allocated to accommodate all the martyrs’ bodies. Agar also took time to view the honor roll dedicated to the Martyrs of the Dignity War located around the General Command.
The inspection tour extended to the Shambat and Halfaya bridges, where the delegation received a comprehensive explanation regarding the current maintenance work being undertaken.
