Lattakia: Eng. Abdel Khaleq Diab, Director General of the Public Drinking Water and Sanitation Establishment in Lattakia, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the French Islamic Relief Organization (SIF) to explore cooperation on projects aimed at improving water services for villages in Lattakia’s countryside.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency, the establishment announced on its official Facebook page that the meeting at its headquarters focused on plans for rehabilitating the Dahr Armati reservoir and the Deirutan reservoir in the Jableh countryside. The conversation emphasized the pressing need for pump maintenance to ensure a continuous water supply, addressing the challenges faced by local residents.
Furthermore, the meeting considered several proposed projects intended to serve the villages in Lattakia’s countryside. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to secure sustainable water sources for the affected communities and respond effectively to their needs.
