Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday as the All Share Index gained 3.74 points to reach 8,764.31 points, an increase of 0.04 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 403.4 million shares valued at KWD 99.2 million (approximately USD 303.5 million) were traded across 24,919 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 11.31 points, reaching 8,695.35 points, up by 0.13 percent, with 237.6 million shares exchanged through 11,825 transactions totaling KWD 34.7 million (around USD 106.18 million).
The Premier Market Index experienced a rise of 2.32 points, reaching 9,233.80 points, a 0.03 percent increase. This rise involved 162.4 million shares traded through 13,094 transactions, valued at KWD 64.5 million (roughly USD 197.3 million).
Moreover, the Bourse Main 50 Index recorded gains of 39.35 points, closing at 9,736.59 points, an increase of 0.41 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 209.8 million shares conducted in 9,303 deals, with a value of KWD 30.2 million (about USD 92.4 million).
