Kamil Idris: Sudan’s Participation in Munich Security Conference Strong, Effective, and Strategic

Khartoum: Prime Minister Professor Kamil Idris affirmed that Sudan's delegation's participation in the Munich Security Conference was strong, effective, and strategic. He noted that the delegation took part in the event dedicated to Sudan, achieving tangible success and persuading participants, while clearly highlighting the crimes committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

According to Sudan News Agency, Idris, in press remarks at Khartoum International Airport following his return from the conference, stated that the so-called RSF has been fully dissolved and no longer exists internationally.

He explained that during the visit, the delegation engaged in numerous media meetings, most notably bilateral meetings with figures from around the world, where they received significant support and clear understanding of Sudan's cause. He also praised the trilateral cooperation among the United States of America, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, as well as the related arrangements.

Idris added: "We welcomed all ideas and initiatives promoting peace. We are advocates of peace and open to dialogue, and we must exercise patience and perseverance in asserting our nation's identity globally." He affirmed confidence that victory will accompany the Sudanese nation, highlighting that the Sudanese army ranks among the strongest armies worldwide. He sent a message to the world that the army is not alone but represents "one army, one people." He expressed hope that this year will be one of peace and development, positioning Sudan at the forefront.
