Al-Gezira: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Shams-Eddin Kabashi, convened a meeting with commanders of military divisions in the Gezira State axis to discuss the security situation, operational conditions, and readiness of the armed forces. The focus of the meeting was on efforts to liberate the country from rebellion and neutralize the terrorist militia of Al-Dagalo.
According to Sudan News Agency, General Kabashi praised the victories achieved by the armed forces, other regular forces, mobilized citizens, and joint forces in regaining control of the city of Wad Madani, which has been restored to national authority. He emphasized the importance of these achievements in maintaining the integrity of the homeland.
In a spontaneous meeting with citizens, General Kabashi affirmed the unity between the populace and their leadership in defending the nation’s sovereignty. His engagement with the community highlighted the collective resolve to protect the country’s soil.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief also met with officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers as part of his ongoing consultations with military units and divisions. His visit included a tour of the city of Wad Madani, where he inspected Hantoub Bridge and assessed the stability of the local situation.
