Geneva: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Huwaida Ali Awad Al-Karim, is leading Sudan’s delegation to the 60th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, taking place from September 8 to October 8, 2025. The delegation is set to engage with international representatives and present Sudan’s position on various human rights issues.
According to Sudan News Agency, the delegation includes the Rapporteur of the National Human Rights Mechanism, the Head of the Executive Office for Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, and representatives from the Ministries of Defense and Finance. These key figures will contribute to discussions and negotiations that align with the session’s agenda.
The delegation is expected to present Sudan’s statements during the meetings and engage in dialogues with relevant stakeholders. This participation is part of Sudan’s ongoing commitment to addressing human rights concerns and collaborating with international entities.
