Khartoum: Minister of Justice Dr. Abdullah Dirif received the asset disclosure document from the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar, at the ministry’s premises in Port Sudan. This action is part of implementing the procedures of financial disclosure for ministers and senior executives.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Lamia Abdel-Ghaffar handed over the asset disclosure forms to the ministers of the Government of Hope immediately after they took the oath of office. This step was taken in preparation for depositing the forms with the competent authorities.
The State Minister has been directed to follow up on the receipt of the forms from the concerned institutions. These forms must be thoroughly reviewed before being submitted to the relevant authority.
The Minister of Cabinet Affairs emphasized that this procedure will encompass all executive leaderships at both the federal and state levels. She stressed that it represents a fundamental step to promote transparency and integrity in public service.
