Khartoum: Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah Dirif, has praised the great sacrifices made by the Armed and Supporting Forces in the Battle of Dignity, stressing that, with the virtue of this bravery and the blood of the martyrs, we were able to reclaim our country and restore its glory and sovereignty. This statement was made during his visit to the Armored Corps and Al-Shajara Military Zone, where he met with the Commander of the Armored Corps, Maj. Gen. Dr. Nasr-Eddin Abdel-Fattah.
According to Sudan News Agency, Dr. Dirif noted that the Armored Corps has become a symbol of bravery and steadfastness in the conscience of the Sudanese people. He emphasized that the stories of heroism written by officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, and mobilized citizens deserve to be documented, as they represent models of patience, steadfastness, and valor. The Minister highlighted that his visit was an expression of gratitude and pride in the Armed Forces and the crucial patriotic role they have played during this phase.
Maj. Gen. Dr. Nasr-Eddin Abdel-Fattah welcomed the Minister of Justice and his accompanying delegation, wishing him success in carrying out his duties. He offered his condolences for the souls of the martyrs and expressed a sincere wish for success for the Government of Hope, led by Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris. The meeting provided an opportunity to renew the pledge of loyalty to the Sudanese people, with hopes for a resounding victory for the armed forces.
Dr. Dirif concluded his visit by accompanying the Commander of the Armored Corps to the cemetery of the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, where they offered their condolences.
