Khartoum: The official spokesman for the Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements, Lt. Col. Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, issued a press statement on Saturday via the Joint Force’s Facebook page, denying a statement attributed to him regarding the conditions of injured members of the armed struggle movements during the battles for homeland and dignity. He emphatically declared the statement to be fabricated and disconnected from the Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements.
According to Sudan News Agency, the denial statement accuses the Janjaweed militia, along with its media allies, of attempting to sow discord and spread rumors to undermine the unity of the national resistance. The statement alleges this fabrication is a diversionary tactic to obscure the militia’s military defeats across various fronts, amidst rapid collapses of its forces and their failure to make any significant progress on the ground.
The Joint Force’s statement further clarifies that the fabricated document is a desperate attempt to mislead public opinion following the major setbacks faced by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. The RSF has reportedly been suffering defeats in Al-Gezira, Khartoum, the Sahara axis, Wadi Hawar, and several other key locations, including the border triangle, Al-Zurg base, El-Fashir, Kordofan, and Merowe.
The statement also asserts that the Janjaweed militia has been unable to defend itself on multiple fronts and that the disintegration of its ranks has led them to engage in media warfare and disseminate false statements. It emphasizes that the joint force, in alliance with the Sudanese Armed Forces and other national forces, remains resolute and will not be swayed by such deceptive tactics.
The Joint Force urges media outlets and the public to verify any official statements through its established channels on Facebook and Twitter, cautioning against the circulation of fake statements. The statement concludes with a call for glory to the martyrs, victory for the homeland, and denouncement of the militia and its media operatives.
