Joint Force Prepares to Defend El-Fashir Against RSF Militia Threat

El-Fashir: The Joint Force of the Armed Struggle Movements has declared its readiness to confront any new approaches toward the city of El-Fashir. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia, led by Al-Dagalo, had issued an ultimatum to the forces in El-Fashir, demanding their departure or surrender within 48 hours, threatening an invasion if their demands were not met.

According to Sudan News Agency, the official spokesman for the Joint Force, Lt. Col. Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, emphasized their preparedness to face any threats to the city with force and determination. He vowed that El-Fashir would resist invaders and become a graveyard for mercenaries and those who threaten Sudan’s security and unity.

Mustafa dismissed the militia’s threats as ineffective, asserting that they would not distract the Joint Force from their mission to liberate Sudan from foreign influence. He described the situation as an existential battle, underscoring the importance of resisting colonial projects to secure the nation’s sovereignty and future.

The Joint Force has appealed to the international community and human rights organizations to address the crimes committed by the Janjaweed militia against civilians. They have urged increased documentation of the RSF militia’s actions, allegedly supported by the United Arab Emirates and international mercenaries, which they claim pose a threat to regional and global stability.

The statement reiterated that the Joint Forces, along with the Sudanese Army and the Popular Resistance in El-Fashir, are prepared to respond decisively to any new attempts by the militia to approach the city.
