Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, has affirmed the government’s support for community initiatives aimed at strengthening internal cohesion and unifying national ranks against the aggression of the Daglo family militia and its proxies.
According to Sudan News Agency, during a meeting with a delegation of Rashaida leaderships, Jabir highlighted that foreign conspiracies and a comprehensive aggression campaign against Sudan manifest in various forms, including attempts to undermine the social fabric. These actions are seen as efforts to strangle the Sudanese people and force them to yield to external pressures seeking to control Sudan’s future.
The TSC Member urged tribal and civil society leaders to use their strategic acumen to assist state leadership in closing gaps to protect the country from the risk of disintegration.
Muslih Ali Mohamed Nassar, Head of the Rashaida leaderships delegation and Advisor to the Prime Minister, noted that the meeting aimed to present a vision for supporting the Supreme Committee for Creating the Suitable Environment for the Return of Citizens to Khartoum. Nassar further elaborated that the delegation briefed Jabir on several proposed projects and programs intended to support stability, promote community peace, and emphasize the importance of combating hate speech and rejecting tribalism amid the current national challenges.
