Khartoum: Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Babiker Samra Mustafa, has emphasized the need to deliver effective police and criminal services to citizens, alongside equipping state police with the necessary resources to ensure security and combat crime.
According to Sudan News Agency, this was highlighted during a meeting in his office with the Wali (governor) of West Kordofan State, Major General (Ret.) Mohamed Adam Gaid, attended by the Director General of Police Forces, General Khalid Hassan Mohieddin. The Minister reiterated the commitment of police forces to support the armed forces and other security bodies until the rebel militia is defeated.
The Wali of West Kordofan State, Major General (Ret.) Mohamed Adam Gaid, commended the exemplary performance and involvement of state police personnel, acknowledging their sacrifices in terms of martyrs and wounded. He expressed confidence that the state would soon reintegrate into the nation, attributing this to the valor of the armed forces, supporting forces, and the resilience of the people against the rebel terrorist militia.
