Khartoum: Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Jabir, welcomed the Transitional Prime Minister, Dr. Kamil Idris, to his office in Khartoum State. The meeting, held on Saturday, focused on crucial arrangements to facilitate the return of citizens to Khartoum State and discussed various reconstruction issues.
According to Sudan News Agency, the meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Babiker Samra, Chief of Staff General Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, and Deputy Director of the General Intelligence Service Lt. Gen. Mohamed Abbas Al-Labib. The attendees, comprising commanders and senior officers, concentrated on evaluating the current situation amidst the ongoing conflict.
The discussions were particularly aimed at addressing the challenges posed by the war and the activities of the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia. The leaders emphasized the importance of creating a stable environment for citizens and supporting reconstruction efforts in the aftermath of the conflict.
