Khartoum: Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris affirmed that the Armed and supporting forces represent the country’s safety valve, praising their sacrifices in the Battle of Dignity and their heroism in repelling the aggression of the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia. During his visit to the General Command of the Armed Forces’ Headquarters, the Prime Minister listened to a briefing from the Chief of Staff, General Mohamed Osman Al-Hussein, on developments and the general situation on the ground. He was reassured of the readiness of the Armed and supporting forces on all battlefronts.
According to Sudan News Agency, Kamil Idris stated that the Government of Hope would work to strengthen national unity to support the Armed Forces until the complete liberation of all the country’s territories from the rebellion. The meeting was attended by the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, and senior commanders of the Armed Forces.
