Sennar: The Wali of Sennar State, Maj. Gen. Al-Zubair Hassan Al-Sayid, commended the continued support provided by the Federal Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) to the state, conveying his appreciation on behalf of the citizens of Sennar State to the HAC Commissioner, Salwa Adam Benyah. This came during his address on Monday at the launch ceremony for the distribution of aid provided by the Federal Commission.
According to Sudan News Agency, the Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid in Sennar State, Mohamed Abdel-Fattah Badi, said the Federal HAC had supported the state with 5,000 sacks of millet, to be distributed across localities, including families of martyrs and khalawi (Quranic schools). He reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to implementing programmes that support citizen stability, with a focus on strengthening livelihoods.
